Hello! My name is Vivian / Yifan. Welcome to my creative portfolio! By day, I am a microbial ecologist researching the wonderfully enthralling world of environmental microbes. By night, I am passionate about exploring the use of art, media, and storytelling as platforms for social change. I am passionate and experienced in film production, photography, graphic design, creative writing, the intersections of environmental and social sciences, and social activism. Combining my interests in STEM, social impact and film, I hope to leverage creative storytelling as a platform to communicate, educate, and bring people together. Currently, I am interested in finding ways to increase Asian representation in wildlife conservation.
